Pre-game information for Friday's Bridge Bowl at Hilton Head High

A roundup of information for Friday's game between Bluffton and Hilton Head Island high schools at Hilton Head Island:

  • Tickets are $8 (the price is set by the district) at the gate.

  • Tickets are $7 in advance at both Bluffton and Hilton Head Island high schools during lunch this week. Tickets are also available at three UPS stores -- On Hilton Head Island, the Main Street and Park Plaza locations; In Bluffton, at the Okatie Village UPS store next to the Sun City Food Lion.

  • The back gate (next to concession stand), the emergency vehicle gate (next to the middle school), the Hilton Head High booster gate and the main gate will be open to accept advance tickets and to purchase tickets for the game.

  • Only Hilton Head Island High School Booster Passes will be valid for use for this game. Please enter at the booster pass gate. Passes will not be available for purchase at the gate the night of the game. Please contact Joe Monmonier at Hilton Head High for passes.

  • Parking will be at a premium. Hilton Head High is asking that fans arrive early to make sure they get a parking spot and are able to get in the game. Bluffton fans are asked to park in the Hilton Head Island Middle School area and come in the gate by the middle school.

  • Hilton Head High is adding portable restrooms to accommodate the expected crowds.

  • Tailgating is allowed. Bluffton fans wishing to tailgate are encouraged to use the parking lots at the middle school. Hilton Head High fans are encouraged to use the new parking lot at the rec center or the parking lot across from the field house. Tailgating lots will open 2 1/2 hours prior to kickoff.

  • Alcohol and tobacco products are prohibited on school grounds.
