GIRLS TENNIS

Hilton Head Island High 5, Hanahan 1: The Seahawks won to improve to 6-3 overall, 3-0 in Region 8-AAA.

Hilton Head Island hosts Berkeley at 4 p.m. Thursday vs. Berkeley

Singles: No. 1 Jenn Oliver (HHH) def. Emilia McCullough 6-2, 6-0; No. 2 Kate Cram (HHH) def. Jenna Sinkevitch 6-0, 6-0; No. 3 Sarah Wood (HHH) def. Sarah Chandler 6-0, 6-0; No. 4 Holly Kerr (HHH) def. Courtney Broome 6-0, 6-0; No. 5 Nicole Diaz (HHH) def. Mallory Wright 6-0, 6-0

Doubles: No. 2 Allison Beach/Allie Perry (Hanahan) def. Sarah Warner/Kelly Mianowski 2-6, 6-2, 10-8

VOLLEYBALL

Porter-Gaud 3, Hilton Head Prep 0: The Dolphins (2-13) fell in straight sets, 25-10, 25-9, 25-11.

Taylor Kent led the Dolphins with three kills and a block. Megan Kelly, Deia Hunt and Paige Lucas each had a kill, while Rowan Baltzey registered 24 digs.

Hilton Head Prep plays on Monday at Bible Baptist before hosting Hilton Head Christian on Tuesday.
