USBC hosts class on federal sequestration

A free course at the University of South Carolina Beaufort is aimed at helping the community understand the economic effect of federal sequestration.

Attendees will learn about the status of sequestration and what it would mean for Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and Naval Hospital Beaufort, according to the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The class is sponsored by the chamber and runs from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 2 at USCB's Bluffton campus. Another session will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 3 at the USCB Beaufort campus.
