The Hilton Head Island High School girls tennis team enters Sunday's play at the Bishop England tournament in Charleston having gone 1-2 over the first two days of the event.

Hilton Head High, the lone Class 3-A school in the tournament, lost a 4-3 battle with Ashley Hall on Friday. The Seahawks then dropped their first match Saturday to Class 4-A's Dutch Fork, 4-2, before defeating Ashley Ridge, another 4-A school, 4-3.

"We're holding our own," Seahawks coach Jennifer Weitekamper said. "The girls are playing hard, and it's giving us some momentum."

Hilton Head High (4-3) will wrap up the tournament at 8:30 a.m. Sunday against Beaufort High.
