A man was robbed outside a home on Delaney Circle in Seabrook Tuesday night.

The man told the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office that he had dropped off a friend at the home at about 9 p.m., according to a news release. He was sitting in his vehicle in the driveway when he was suddenly approached by two black men.

One of the men had a handgun. They demanded the man empty his pockets. He gave them his wallet and then was ordered to lie on the ground outside his vehicle.

The two men ran toward a nearby wooded area.

The man was not injured. He drove to a family member's home on Young Circle, where he called the Sheriff's Office at about 9:30 p.m.
