Live owls to be 'Creature Feature' at Coastal Discovery Museum

A children-only “Moonlight Creature Feature” featuring owls will is planned for 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Coastal Discovery Museum on Hilton Head Island, 70 Honey Horn Drive.

The event, for children ages 7 to 10, will start with a pizza party and marshmallow roast. Participants will learn about owls, do an owl pellet dissection, see a live-owl program and take a guided moonlight nature walk.

The cost is $25 per child, or $20 for museum members and each additional sibling. Space is limited, and prepaid reservations are required by calling 843-689-3033, extension 223.
