Bible Baptist too much for Hilton Head Christian, 44-27

sports@islandpacket.comSeptember 7, 2013

Hilton Head Christian gave Bible Baptist its closest game of the young season. But it wasn't nearly enough, as the Braves sent the Eagles to an 0-2 record with a 44-27 win.

The Eagles have dropped two road games. They open their home schedule next week with Dorchester Academy. Head coach Ryan Mitch is still looking for his first victory with the Eagles.

Deovonte Doe scored twice for the Eagles, while DeAngelo Clark and Ryan Barrett each added a score.

Bible Baptist defeated St. Andrew's 60-6 in it's opener before routing Thomas Heyward Academy 88-47 last week.
