This shows my car traveling over a bump traveling eastbound on U.S. 278 right before crossing Simmonsville Road. This bump is part of the widening construction project on the road as the contractor prepares to resurface the road. While residents understand it is part of the construction, many are frustrated by this bump and others like it that are several inches high, creating a severe jolt to their cars.
