McGill to speak about Slave Dwelling Project

Joe McGill, who has traveled the South staying in slave cabins, will speak Thursday in Bluffton.

An officer with the National Trust for Historic Preservation Program, McGill will give an update on the Slave Dwelling Project at 11 a.m. at the Heyward House, 70 Boundary St. He will be introduced by Emory Campbell.

The event is sponsored by the Bluffton Historical Preservation Society and the Humanities Council SC.

Attendees are asked to give a $3 donation.
