Bluffton teen charged in July Walgreens armed robbery

Bluffton Police have charged a 17 year old with armed robbery in connection with a July robbery at the Bluffton Walgreens.

A police report released Saturday said Tyler Alexander Bredice-Beverly of Bluffton entered the Fording Island Road drug store around 11 p.m. July 27 wearing a mask and claiming to have a gun. He demanded money and cigarettes before other customers confronted him. The suspect they ran away, but not before the customers unmasked him.

Officers then used still photos from the store's surveillance video to identify Bredice-Beverly as a suspect. He was arrested Saturday and is being held for prosecution at the Beaufort County Detention Center, according to the jail log.
