The Bluffton-Jasper County Volunteers in Medicine has moved its office and will hold an open house at 5 p.m. Thursday to celebrate.

The clinic, which provides medical care for the needy, has moved to 1 Burnt Church Road, at the intersection of U.S. 278 in Bluffton.

The new office enables the clinic to see more patients and better provide health care and preventive programs, according to a news release.

The clinic also seeks volunteer doctors and nurses and administrative help.

Light refreshments and music will be provided at the open house, along with a tour of the clinic.
