Bluffton falls out of South Carolina football rankings despite victory

Whale Branch slips one spot in Class 1-A after loss

Despite a 44-0 home loss at the hands of Class 4-A Bluffton, Whale Branch is ranked No. 9 in Class 3-A in the S.C. Prep Media Football Poll for Week 1.

The Warriors (0-1) dropped one spot from the Week Zero poll.

Ironically, Bluffton (1-0) slipped out of the Class 4-A poll despite the win.
