High school football returns to WHHI's airwaves

WHHI-TV will again broadcast area high school football games this fall.

The Covert Aire High School Football Bowl Series on WHHI Sports will feature a game of the week that will air on a tape-delay basis. The games will air Saturday mornings at 11 a.m., Sunday afternoons at noon, Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. and daily at midnight.

The first broadcast will be Friday's game between Whale Branch and Bluffton.

The announcers for the games are Dale Planicka (play-by-play) and Chuck Zapiec (color commentary). WHHI-TV can be found at Time Warner Cable Ch. 3 and Ch. 150, Hargray Cable Ch. 8 and www.whhitv.com.
