Beaufort County remains under a hazardous weather outlook, which was issued by the National Weather Service early Thursday morning.
Heavy rain and thunderstorms moved through the area, and forecasts warned that some flooding was possible since the ground remains wet from recent rains.
The forecast through Thursday night called for a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, but mostly sunny weather was expected with a high near 87 degrees.
Friday's forecast from the National Weather Service against calls for a 20 to 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, especially after 10 a.m.
It's also expected to rain Saturday; forecasts call for a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high near 85 degrees.
