Home cook and head chef face off in Beaufort's Downtown Plate Crawl

Mildred Glover, a home cook from St. Helena Island, and Brian Waters, the head chef of Saltus River Grill in Beaufort, are two of the competitors in a tasting competition during the first annual Downtown Plate Crawl 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in Beaufort. Both Glover and Waters will be preparing their own versions of Corn Crab Bisque for the competition.
