Questions on Benghazi too important to ignore

info@islandpacket.comAugust 13, 2013

Recently, a number of Democrats have appeared on television and been asked to comment on efforts to get answers to what happened before, during and after the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya.

The responses have all been the same. First, those being interviewed say they want full disclosure. This is followed by the claim that Republicans, who are the driving force behind the congressional investigation, are politicizing the process. What exactly do they mean? These people never give an example to back up their claim. Even CNN says there are legitimate questions about why repeated and specific warnings about the Benghazi security situation were undervalued or ignored.

Those being interviewed conclude by repeating the claim they want full disclosure and then in the same breath say we should "move on." I believe most reasonable people understand when these Democrats say "move on," they really mean "forget it." I'm sure Hillary Clinton would like everyone to move on and forget Benghazi.
