Hilton Head Island Safe Harbour thanks Community Foundation of the Lowcountry

Hilton Head Island Safe Harbour would like to thank the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, for a generous grant $16,500 to assist us in our scheduling as we grow and continue to serve residents of Hilton Head.

Earlier this year, the foundation awarded us a $5,000 community impact grant to help develop a new logo and to better define what we do.

The foundation, founded in 1994, has distributed more than $44.4 million to organizations in Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper counties. Like most nonprofits, we rely heavily on grants and fundraising to fulfill our mission, which is to help residents safely age in their homes. The foundation helps make this possible and also fulfills its goal to be a model outreach ministry that benefits the community. We are grateful for its continued support.

Hilton Head Island Safe Harbour is a 501(c)3 membership organization. We are actively seeking volunteers to assist with driving, respite, social interaction with our members and an array of needs. For more information visit our website at www.hhisafeharbour.org.
