Waterways closed for training next week

Several waterways near Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island will be shut down while the Weapons and Field Training Battalion conducts live-fire training next week, according to a news release.

Archers Creek, Edding Creek and Ribbon Creek will be closed to boats between Aug. 12 and Aug. 14. The training will run from 6 a.m. to midnight each day.
