Hilton Head Hospital gets robotic arm to assist with partial knee replacements.

Dr. Kirk Johnson, a surgeon with Hilton Head Hospital, explains how the RIO Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System works following a demonstration in the lobby at the hospital on Friday afternoon on Hilton Head Island. The robotic arm will assist the surgeon during partial knee replacement procedures to relieve pain caused by joint degeneration due to osteoarthritis.
