A segment of economy needs low-skill jobs

info@islandpacket.comJuly 31, 2013

Leonard Pitts' July 29 column on the "McBudget" was a pleasant change because it didn't inject racism.

Low-skill, low-paying jobs are necessary for people who don't have a good education or strong desire and for those filling in. There has always been this category of job and always will be. We certainly don't want to help those who don't want to better themselves. We do want to help those who can't help themselves.
