Cars shot, possibly by BB gun, in Bluffton

Windows were shot out of three cars in a Bluffton neighborhood Sunday night, possibly by a BB gun, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

All three incidents were on Heartstone Circle in The Willows between 8 and 10 p.m., and caused a total of about $3,000 in damage:

  • A Chevrolet Suburban's rear passenger-side window was shattered, and four small dents were made on a rear door. Damage: $1,200.

  • A Toyota Highlander's rear window was shattered, and several dents were made on a rear panel and passenger-side door. Damage: $1,300.

  • A Honda Odyssey's rear window was shattered. Damage: $500.

  • An officer found a small, silver BB at the end of the driveway where the Suburban was parked, the report said.
