Protesters gathered to rally against the Stand Your Ground philosophy and in support of justice for Trayvon Martin and Carlos Alberto Olivera, who was shot and killed in Bluffton on Christmas Eve in 2010, on Saturday afternoon outside of Beaufort City Hall in Beaufort. The demonstration, which was organized by the Beaufort County and related Democratic clubs, is one of many that took place nationwide on Saturday.
