Boiled Peanut Festival scheduled for Aug. 24

Bluffton Boilers, the Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and Bluffton Rotary Club announce the return of the Boiled Peanut Festival.

The festival will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Aug. 24 on Calhoun Street. It will feature a boiled peanut cook-off and eating competition for all ages, food vendors, and music by Tom Hall & The Plowboys. There will be preview day Aug. 22 at the Bluffton Farmer's Market, where the world's largest boiled peanut will be unveiled.
