A Bluffton woman and Ridgeland man were charged with several drug offenses in Georgia, including morphine trafficking, according to a news release from the Kingsland Police Department.

Ashley Rae Warren, 26, of Bluffton and Larry Malphrus III, 27, of Ridgeland were charged after drugs were found in the Ford Ranger pickup truck Malphrus was driving in Kingsland, near the Georgia-Florida border, the release said.

According to the release, police stopped the truck in Kingsland at 9:26 p.m. Friday after someone reported that Malphrus appeared to be intoxicated. Officers called in a K-9 unit, which allegedly found drugs and drug paraphernalia in the truck.
