Inaccurate trial coverage hurts media credibility

info@islandpacket.comJuly 17, 2013

The July 13 front-page coverage of the George Zimmerman trial showed yet again sloppiness, laziness and unprofessionalism.

Jonathan Good was listed as a defense witness. He was not; he was called by the prosecution. While his testimony seemed to help the defense more than the state, he was not a witness for the defense. It is mistakes like this that lead many to discredit today's media.
