Hilton Head eliminated York, 11-4, on Tuesday in a semifinal game at the Dixie Majors State Tournament in Lancaster.

Hilton Head will play Irmo at 5 p.m. Wednesday for the state championship. The game is a rematch of Monday's contest, which Hilton Head won 15-12. Irmo would have to beat Hilton Head twice to claim the championship in the double-elimination tournament.

In Tuesday's game, Michael Grant got the win with two innings before giving way to Lincoln Fuller for the save. Fuller pitched five innings, allowing two runs, three hits and three walks.

At the plate, Randy Young was 4 for 4 with four RBIs, and John David Reichel and Dylan Powell were both 2 for 4 with an RBI. Taylor Place was 1 for 3 with a home run and a hit by pitch, and Grant was 1 for 2 with a walk and a sacrifice fly.
