Fallen tree blocks traffic near Levy

Traffic was re-routed for more than an hour Monday on S.C. 315, also known as South Okatie Highway, after a tree fell across the road near its intersection with Roper Road, near the town of Levy.

The S.C. Highway Patrol was on scene as of about 10 a.m. The tree had been cleared by noon, according to the Highway Patrol website.

No injuries were reported.
