Two movies to be filmed in Beaufort

Two movies are slated to be filmed in Beaufort in the coming months.

Dream Coast Films has announced it will film "Route 65 Nashville" in August and September and "My Brother, Your Outlaw, The Waylon Jennings Story" in January.

"Route 65 Nashville" is about characters' dreams of a career in country music. According to a news release, cast members include: Eric Roberts, Corbin Bernsen, Naomi Judd, Johnny Messner, Rachel Hunter, Daryl Hannah, Janine Turner, Brooke Hogan, Stephen Baldwin, Randall Batinkoff, Chris Wiehl, Ray Lewis, Bill Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Kurt Busch, Kenny Wallace, Peter Donald Badalamenti II, Joel Lambert and Rachel Rosenstein. The film will also include music and acting from John Parr, Jamie O'Neal, Tommy Jennings, Bobby Cyrus.

No details on "My Brother, Your Outlaw, The Waylon Jennings Story," were included in the news release.

The company is seeking investors to own a percentage of the movie. The movie has a $7.2 million budget. Paid product integration opportunities are available.
