The following reports were released Thursday by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office:

HILTON HEAD ISLAND

CAR BREAK-IN

  • Greenwood Drive: Driver's side window of Jeep Grand Cherokee smashed; wallet containing $50 stolen. Damage to vehicle: $200

  • THEFT

  • Heron Street: Purse valued at $250, cash and gift cards worth $500, smartphone worth $300 stolen. Purse later recovered.

  • Bay Pines Drive: iPad Mini worth $500 stolen.

  • Pope Avenue, Bi-Lo Plaza: Jamis beach cruiser bicycle worth $200 stolen.

  • Pope Avenue, St. Luke's Church: Electronics worth $50 stolen. Damage to building: $200.

  • LADY'S ISLAND

    THEFT

  • Sunset Drive: Stihl backpack leaf blower worth $800 stolen from truck.
