Ronald Von Fricken

A Beaufort pastor has been charged with burglary and harassment after he turned himself in early Monday morning.

TLC Ministries pastor Ronald Von Fricken was arrested at about 6:30 a.m. and charged with harassment, second degree burglary and unlawful communication by phone. A warrant for his arrest was issued last week by Beaufort Police. Von Fricken said he was on vacation in New York when the charges were filed.

The charges alleged he harassed a Beaufort woman for nearly three months and placed tracking devices on her property. Von Fricken has said he was in a relationship with the woman, who was a TLC Ministries employee, for nearly three years.

Since the charges were filed, Von Fricken has turned over control of the ministry, which helps men -- some homeless -- overcome additions and find religion.

Von Fricken has been released from jail on a personal recognizance bond according to the Beaufort County jail log.
