Memory Matters thanks Berkeley Hall Charitable Fund for grant

letters@islandpacket.comJuly 1, 2013

On behalf of the families we serve, our staff and board of directors, I would like to thank Berkeley Hall Charitable Fund for awarding Memory Matters a grant to support our scholarship program.

With the help of these funds we are able to provide free care to low-income Bluffton families who desperately need help. The need for high-quality, compassionate dementia care is substantial. Many families are struggling, and the economy still has not recovered. Berkeley Hall is a charitable and civic-minded community, and we are grateful for this support from our caring neighbors.

Memory Matters is a local nonprofit organization that offers dementia- specific day care, support and resources for caregivers, and education and advocacy for the community.
