J.D. Hoft, Jeff Wong team up to win HHIAGA's Four-Ball Championship at Bear Creek Golf Club

The team of Jeff Wong and J.D. Hoft pulled away after sharing the overnight lead Sunday, winning the championship flight of the Hilton Head Island Amateur Golf Association's Four-Ball Championship by five shots.

Hoft/Wong finished with a 134 total at Bear Creek Golf Club.

Bob Collar/John Patterson were second at 139, while first-round co-leaders Tim Ferguson and Bubba Jacoby slipped to third at 140.

Mark Carey/Jim Manning claimed the handicap flight by one shot over Brian Baird/P.J. Tanner.

In the senior flight, John Hencken/Joe Vignati won the gross division. Gary Perkins/Orrie Vran and Chris Morris/Gibby Young tied for the title in the net division.
