Bluffton hosting charettes to discuss town's brand

info@islandpacket.comJune 20, 2013

The Town of Bluffton is beginning the process of branding itself to establish its unique identity in the Lowcountry.

Researchers from the University of South Carolina and University of South Carolina Beaufort are collecting opinions of residents, business owners and tourists. They will also host charettes -- collaborative public sessions -- for residents and others to voice their ideas and opinions.

Charettes are scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m. at the Rotary Community Center at Oscar Frazier Park on the following dates: June 25, June 26, July 9 and July 10.

To attend: Call Leta Salazar, Bluffton marketing manager for the HHI-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, at 843-757-3673.

The Island Packet is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news.
