Flash flood warning: Beaufort, Jasper counties on alert til 9 p.m. Wednesday

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for southern Beaufort County and Jasper County. The warning will remain in effect until 9:15 p.m. Wednesday night.

Drivers are encouraged to be cautious driving into standing water, as one foot of water can stall a car, and two feet can carry one away, according to the NWS bulletin.
