Jeff Hull, one of the top tennis players to come out of South Carolina, will be the guest speaker at the June 10 meeting of the Athletic Club of the Lowcountry.

The meeting will be held at Bluffton's Lord of Life Lutheran Church on Buckwalter Parkway, across from Publix. Guests are invited to attend.

The social begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by the presentation at 7.

Hull played his collegiate career at the University of South Carolina and captained the Gamecocks to a national ranking in 1978. He obtained a world ranking while in his 20s and was elected to the South Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame.

As a teaching professional, Hull mentored several young players who went on to All-American status.

This will be the last meeting before the club takes a summer hiatus. Monthly meetings will resume Sept. 9.
