HELP's Emergency Services will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays starting June 1. The HELP House is at 1910 Baggett St. in Beaufort.

Saturday's staff will consider requests for emergency assistance for those needing partial payment toward their water or electric bills, toward rent or mortgage and food. A referral form from the Beaufort County Department of Social Services will be required along with a picture identification card and a Social Security Number for utility and rent/mortgage assistance. Those needing food need only bring a picture identification card and Social Security card.

Clothing, which is available during the week, will not be available on Saturdays.
