Van Der Meer hosting free adult tennis clinic, pro exhibition Tuesday evening

As a part of the Head Women’s $10,000 USTA Pro Circuit Tournament qualifying, the Van der Meer Academy is putting on a free adult tennis clinic and professional exhibition from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Van der Meer Tennis Center.

The clinic and exhibition will feature former 27th-ranked ATP professional and Van der Meer Academy Director, Marcos Ondruska and Van der Meer teaching professionals.

The clinic runs from 5:30 to 6:30 followed by the professional exhibition. The cost of the clinic is free, but the academy is asking for donations to the American Stroke Association in honor of Dennis Van der Meer. There will be prizes and refreshments.

Admission to all matches is free and any questions about the tournament’s activities should be directed to Van der Meer‘s director of events, Jim Stubbs at 843-785-8388 ext. 115 or Jim@vdmtennis.com.
