Rental property owners need to step up game

info@islandpacket.comMay 23, 2013

Are Hilton Head Island's rental units ready? No.

Investment in rental properties is falling behind the island's hotels and other resorts. Having been regular, long-term visitors and renters on Hilton Head for more than a decade, we now find tired decor and appliances, ill-equipped kitchens and bedrooms and outdated TVs with limited cable packages. Despite this, owners and rental companies still demand high rates.

For once, our current rental is great, but it's time for the rest of the Hilton Head rental market to wake up to the competition.
