Good reason behind actions by residents

I would like to voice an opinion against a few letters I have seen.

First, to the person who could not believe that we would re-elect Mark Sanford. We are not ignorant Southerners; we know what is best for our country, and that is to place anyone we can in office who does not support a president who has lied and placed our country, troops and all associated with us, in positions of detriment and demise.

Second, as for the military planes and noises associated with them, it is the sound of freedom. If you don't like it, go away ... we don't want you here anyway. (Only those who are impelled to be concerned with monetary gain give a darn about bringing more outsiders to our "happy town.")

Third, Beaufort is a beautiful place with much to offer. South Carolina is a wonderful home. To comment negatively about the people who live here and made their voices heard is a dreadful, deep stupidity on anyone's part. Thank you, and to those I may have offended ... bless your heart.
