A 42-year-old Georgia man was arrested on Hilton Head Island, accused of fondling and exposing himself to women on the beach, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report.

A deputy went out to the beach near marker 58 off of South Forest Beach Drive at about 3 p.m. Friday after Hilton Head Beach Patrol fielded several complaints from beachgoers, the report said.

Five women gave written statements that the man was staring at them while fondling himself, and a lifeguard also reported that he had seen the man pulling up his shorts and tying his drawstring when he attempted to confront him.

As the deputy escorted the man off the beach, he reportedly told the deputy to look back and said, "Look what I have had to look at all day," according to the report. He was charged with misdemeanor indecent exposure.
