People have spoken, but there's price to pay

The people of the 1st District of South Carolina have spoken.

Now they are the laughingstock not only of the state but also of the nation. How political party affiliation can blind a person's vision and allow them to look past the distrust, lack of morals, lying, and punitive actions taken against Mark Sanford by his own party to put this blankety-blank back in political office is beyond me.

However, the people of the first district of South Carolina have spoken.
