  • The Spring Sports banquet will be held at 6:30 p.m. May 16 in the Performing Arts Center, with a meal to follow in the school cafe. All athletes should wear their "Sunday best" to this event.     HELPING HANDS

  • The Spanish I class will head to a migrant camp on St. Helena Island on May 13 to deliver soccer and personal hygiene items they collected during a "Soccer & Soap Drive."

  • The bridging ceremony for the first-grade and year-end program is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. May 23 at the University of South Carolina Beaufort Performing Arts Center.

  • The district will invite local ministers to lunch. The lunch will be held 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on the Ridgeland campus and 11 a.m.-noon at the Jasper County Alternative School on May 20. A second event will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. May 22 on the Hardeeville campus.     ACHIEVEMENTS

  • The Exchange Club of Beaufort presented fourth-grade students the "Proudly We Hail" award March 14 for properly displaying the American flag. Each student was also awarded a certificate at the Children's Mass on March 15 by the Club's President.
