A 67-year-old Beaufort woman contacted law enforcement after someone used her personal information to order a computer, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report.

The woman told deputies she had received notice from a company that someone had used her name, Social Security number and birthday to open an Internet bank account, and a different phone number, address and email account to order the $900 computer from Hewlett-Packard.
