BATTERY CREEK HIGH SCHOOL

EVENTS

  • The spring band concert is at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the John J. McVey Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.

  • The Fine Arts Department will hold the year-end spring gala at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Strings, drama and chorus will present performances. Admission is one canned food item.

  • Anyone interested in being a part of the 2013 Girls Golf Team should plan to attend a meeting at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in the school cafeteria. This includes rising freshman for the 2013-2104 school year.

  • BEAUFORT HIGH SCHOOL

    EVENTS

  • The school will be electing officers for its newly established Parent Teacher Student Organization at its final School Improvement Council meeting. Four positions available President, vice president, secretary and treasurer.

  • The school is selling $1 buttons in support of former student and "American Idol" contestant Candice Glover. Call the school or stop by to purchase a pin to wear. All profits go to the Glover family to help pay travel expenses to see her perform in Hollywood.

    -- Friday: 6 p.m. at Parris Island All-Weather Facility, commencement ceremony.
