Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity thanks Colleton River Plantation

The good people of Colleton River Plantation just can't do enough for Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity.

Colleton Friends of Habitat committed to raising $125,000 to help Habitat build its new community on Hilton Head Island, called The Glen, and have achieved that truly remarkable goal. Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity is so very grateful.

Colleton keeps on giving to Habitat in so many ways. It has funded eight Habitat houses in the past eight years and always comes through with more than just financial support. There are many dedicated volunteers from Colleton who regularly come out and drive nails during the construction phase or drive the Restore truck to pick up donations. We couldn't keep them away if we wanted to, and their enthusiasm is contagious. We are humbled by this level of generosity.

As Winston Churchill once said, "We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give." The people of Colleton River Plantation are living proof Sir Winston was right.
