Art League of Hilton Head's 'Biennale' show runs through June 1

The Art League of Hilton Head announces the 23rd edition of "Biennale," the longest-running nationally juried exhibition in the area.

The exhibition will feature 95 artists from across the country, competing in seven media categories. Judge Paul Matheny III, chief curator of the South Carolina State Museum will announce cash awards at the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. May 3. The reception is free and open to the public. A Critic's Coffee will be held 10 a.m. to noon May 4. Cost is $8. The exhibition will be open May 4 to June 1.
