Trust administration to exploit every crisis

During the final presidential debate, President Barack Obama said the sequester would not happen. Surprise. It happened.

We know the White House believes no crisis should go to waste. Some believe the istration plans to use the sequester to inconvenience the public, as much as they can get away with, and blame Congress, especially the Republicans, for the problem. In doing so, some stupid mistakes are going to happen.

From information contained in an article titled "Blind Eye," written by Bill Gertz for the Washington Free Beacon, a government source says the FBI has canceled all but one of its counterterrorism training courses as a result of the fiscal constraints imposed by sequestration cuts.

Sebastian Gorka of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies said, "The fact is religion has been expunged from counterterrorism training. The FBI can't talk about Islam, and they can't talk about jihad."

The FBI's investigation's failure to recognize political Islam as a driver of jihadist terrorism is partly to blame for the FBI not identifying in 2011 one of the alleged Boston bombers as a security risk, according to U.S. officials and private security analysts.

The FBI is limiting its description of the two men as "ethnic Chechens who became radicalized." Again, the FBI had been aware of a terrorist's escalating religious radicalization and did nothing because of bureau policy restrictions.

If you think the administration's action with the air traffic controllers was unnecessary, just wait. They will devise more ways to inconvenience you and possibly risk your safety.
