Whale Branch's Dee Delaney, a three-sport standout for the Warriors, earned his latest honor recently with a spot on the North-South all-star baseball game roster.

Delaney, who pitched and played outfield for Whale Branch, also played in the North-South football game. He was an all-state selection in football and basketball this year.

Delaney found out last week about the latest honor. The game will be played in June.

The Citadel football signee will play in the all-star game and report to school the next day, Whale Branch coach Josh Brister said.

"The kid's just an athlete," Brister said. "A once-in-a-lifetime kid for me."
