Alabama offers Bluffton's Shameik Blackshear

The two-time defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide stepped in with an offer to Bluffton High School 2015 defensive end Shameik Blackshear on Wednesday.

Assistant coach Chris Rumph, a South Carolina graduate and former Clemson assistant, delievered the news personally.

The Crimson Tide make the 10th team to offer the rising junior prospect. Tennessee and Louisville most recently offered over the weekend, joining South Carolina, Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, North Carolina and N.C. State.
