Bluffton's Bryson Nimmer won the Boys 15-19 Division title at the International Junior Golf Tour's Auntie Anne's Pretzels Junior held this past weekend at Shipyard Golf Club on Hilton Head Island.

The tournament came down to the final hole with Nimmer and Bluffton's Charlie Spencer-White tied at 2 over at the tee on No. 18.

Both players left themselves with wedges for their third shots on the par-5 finishing hole. Spencer-White hit his approach to 6 feet while Nimmer hit his to about 12 feet.

With Nimmer putting first, he was able to roll his putt in putting the pressure squarely on Spencer-White, who was unable to convert his birdie putt, giving Nimmer his first IJGT title this season with a two-day total of 1-over-par 145.

"That shot I hit into 18 was really good," said Nimmer. "Set me up for a birdie to win."

Spencer-White was second with a 2-over-par 146 two-day total.

In the Boys Under 14 Division, Hank Haney IJGA student Taisuke Ono (Tokyo, Japan) fired 80 and 78 to beat classmate Paul Schumacher (Canton, Ohio) by three strokes.

Finally, Hank Haney IJGA student Ana Ruiz (Chihuahua, Mexico) won the Girls Under 19 Division. She defeated classmate Phyllis Tang (Hong Kong) by seven strokes.
